DAY 1 : Guwahati – Shillong (Assam/Meghalaya)

Arrive at the Guwahati Airport and drive to Shillong. Check in at the hotel for refreshment. Later, if time permits, visit Cathedral of Mary and in the evening, roam around Shillong’s famous Police Bazar on foot. Stay overnight in Shillong.

DAY 2 : Shillong – Cherrapunji (Meghalaya)

Enjoy a tasty breakfast and later, drive to Cherrapunji. En route, visit the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak, where you can have a bird’s-eye view of Shillong city. At Cherrapunji, visit Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Take a break for lunch and travel to Thangkharang Park. Relax overnight in Cherrapunji.

DAY 3 : Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong – Shillong (Meghayala)

Start with an energising breakfast and go on an excursion to Mawlynnong. Also visit Dwaki. Drive back to Shillong for a pleasant overnight stay. Note: It is advisable to carry a packed lunch to Mawlynnong.

DAY 4 : Shillong – Guwahati (Meghalaya – Assam)

After the breakfast, drive to Guwahati. Later, visit Kamakhya Temple and in the evening, go on a magnificent river cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Stay overnight in Guwahati.

DAY 5 : Guwahati Airport.

Savour a hearty breakfast and later, drive to Guwahati Airport.
